Plasitc extruder is mainly used for extruding thermoplastics such as soft and hard polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene. It can process a variety of plastic products, such as blown film, squeeze tube, pressure plate, ribbon, etc., and can also be used for melt granulation. Features of plastic extruder:
A1. Basic structure of single screw extruder
It mainly consists of five parts: extrusion system, transmission system, heating and cooling system, control system, head and die. The extrusion system consists of a screw, a barrel and a forming head; the transmission system consists of an electric motor, a speed reduction mechanism and a bearing; the heating and cooling system consists of a heater and a cooling water jacket.
A2. Structure of the screw
There are seven types: equidistant gradient screw, equidistant abrupt screw, constant depth variable pitch screw, variable depth variable pitch screw, pin type screw, DIS type screw, barrier type screw. The main parameters of the screw are the screw diameter (the extrusion amount is proportional to the cube of the screw diameter);
A3. Machine barrel
There are two types of barrel construction: integral and segmented. The feeding port has a shape of a circle, a square, a rectangle, and a triangle in a top view shape, and generally has a rectangular shape. There are four ways to connect the machine head and the barrel: threaded connection, flange connection, screw connection, hinged screw connection, and the hinged screw connection is quick and convenient.
A4. Single screw extruder drive system
The drive system of the extruder is generally composed of a prime mover, a speed governor, a speed reducer and a bearing. The speed governing device has a mechanical variable speed fixed speed motor) device and a motor shifting device.
