A1. Conical Twin-Screw Extruder (Typically SJSZ-65/132 or SJSZ-80/156)

Function: PVC powder cannot be processed by a standard single-screw extruder because it is heat-sensitive. A conical twin-screw extruder provides excellent shearing, uniform mixing, and high plasticizing efficiency at lower melt temperatures.

Features: Equipped with a vacuum degassing system to remove moisture and volatiles from the raw PVC material, ensuring a dense pipe wall free of bubbles.

Stabilize Energy Costs: Extruders use massive amounts of electrical power to maintain barrel temperatures between 170°C and 200°C. Investing in high-efficiency barrel heating bands (like ceramic or infrared heaters) and variable-frequency drives (VFD) on all major motors can lower your monthly energy consumption by 15–25%.

A2. Extrusion Die Head & Molds

Function: Shapes the molten PVC into a continuous tubular form.

Design: Uses high-quality steel (often 40Cr) with a polished, chrome-plated flow channel to prevent PVC degradation. It includes sizing sleeves for the specific diameters needed (75mm, 90mm, 110mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm).

A3. Vacuum Sizing and Cooling Tank

Function: Cools the hot pipe immediately after it leaves the die, locking in the exact outer diameter and roundness.

Mechanics: Uses a high-vacuum pump to pull the pipe wall against the sizing sleeve while water spray nozzles rapidly cool the plastic. Made of stainless steel to prevent rust.

A4. Spray Cooling Tank (Secondary Cooling)

Function: Provides additional intensive cooling required for thick-walled pipes (especially larger sizes like 200mm and 250mm) to ensure the pipe is fully solidified before reaching the haul-off unit.

A5. Haul-off Machine (Three-Claw or Four-Claw Caterpillar)

Function: Pulls the pipe forward from the extruder at a precise, synchronized speed.

Control: Uses frequency conversion speed regulation to match the extruder’s output perfectly, preventing the pipe from stretching or bunching.

A6. Cutting Machine (Planetary Cutter)

Function: Cuts the continuous pipe into standard commercial lengths (typically 4-meter or 6-meter sections).

Mechanics: A planetary cutting system is mandatory for this diameter range. The blade rotates around the circumference of the pipe, providing a clean, chamfered, and burr-free cut without deforming the pipe.

A7. Stacker / Auto-Belling Machine

Stacker: Collects and stacks finished straight pipes.

Optional Belling Machine (Socketing): Automatically heats one end of the pipe and expands it into a “U” or “R” type socket (with a rubber ring groove) for easy pipe-to-pipe connection.
