The single-shaft shredder is a solid waste shredder designed for processing entangled materials. Material enters the shredder chamber through the feed system. Shredder blades are mounted on the chamber, and a pusher box pushes the material toward the blades. The shredder blades then tear, squeeze, and shear the material, shredding it into smaller pieces before discharging them through the mesh.
